FinBox Secures $40M Series B Funding Led by WestBridge to Accelerate Digital Lending Innovation

FinBox, a Bengaluru-based fintech startup founded in 2017, has successfully raised $40 million in a Series B funding round led by WestBridge Capital, with participation from A91 Partners and Aditya Birla Ventures. The company provides comprehensive B2B digital lending infrastructure, risk intelligence, and orchestration tools designed to help financial institutions and enterprises embed tailored credit products into their ecosystems.

 

FinBox’s modular and AI-driven platform enables lenders to improve loan origination, underwriting, fraud detection, and credit decisioning processes. Their solutions include the AI-native lending platform Sentinel BRE, the Partnership Lending Stack Prism, fraud intelligence suites, and extensive API services for seamless data connectivity and KYC compliance. Serving over 130 clients including prominent banks like HDFC, Kotak Mahindra, and Tata Capital, FinBox has processed loan applications exceeding $9 billion.

 

The new funding aims to accelerate product innovation, expand global presence, and strengthen AI capabilities to automate workflows and enhance risk management. FinBox’s mission is to empower lenders to source better, underwrite faster, fight fraud more effectively, and deliver fairer, more accessible credit to underserved segments, including MSMEs with limited credit history. This investment positions FinBox as a pivotal player in the rapidly evolving digital credit ecosystem, committed to building scalable, sustainable financial infrastructure for a global market.
